It is raining in Thailand. Some of us who live in urban areas may be moody with rain, traffic jam and musty clothes and neglect admiring liveliness of various kinds of plants. Jazz up your life! Take a break and go somewhere quiet, far away from chaotic city.

For adventure lovers who have no time, “Kaeng Hin Phoeng” is a place where you can throw your problems away and enjoy life with wonderful experience.

“Kaeng Hin Phoeng” is situated in Nadee district, Prachinburi province and about 230 kilometres far from Bangkok. The most popular activity here is “Rafting”.

The rafting distance is about 5 kilometres. The difficult level is 3-4. You should take a short trek for 2.5 kilometres (30-45 minutes) to get to the starting point. During the journey, you will be pleased with an exquisite scenery and beautiful sound of wild birds and insects.

Here, you will take adventure with 6 rapids. There are Kaeng Hin phoeng, Kaeng Wang Phak Nam Lom, Kaeng Luk Suea, Kaeng Wang Bon, Kaeng Wang Sai and Kaeng Ngoo Hao. The river time is between 45 minites – 1 hour.

1.Safety comes first. Life jacket and helmet should be prepared and worn during rafting.

3.It is recommended to wear light shoes with heel strap.

In addition, there are many essential equipments you should not forget such as water-resistant bag, medicine and first aid tools.

1.Conciousness is the most important thing when falling into the river. Don't shout for help, this can make you choke. Just raise your hands and paddle or try to hold something and wait for help.

2.If you can swim, swim to the bank as soon as you can. This can save you from an accident that will happen by current and rapids.

3.Floating on water, turning face up and raising your legs can reduce the risk from submerge. When you are flowing, stretch your legs along the current to prevent crashing with the rock.

4.Don't bend your knees or turn your face down while floating on water, this can cause crashing with the rock.

5.When your team arrive for help, turn your back towards and pull your life jacket down. Then your team will pull you up to the raft. This can make you suffocate, but don't worry. It takes a few seconds.

Note: Don't be scared if you are besieged by crowd when come back because they come to touch the happiness that shines from you.
