9.Ta Khai canal
This canal is connected to Saan Saab Canal in Bangkok, in the past this canal was the main way to Bangkok, H.M. King Rama V once used this canal to travel to Bangkok on Januaray 30, 1907 and on September 20, 1994, and H.R.H. Crown Princess Sirindorn traveled from Saan Saab Canal down to Ta-khai Canal. Today every 20th of September is officially named “The National River and Canal Day”

10.Wat Laem Tai
This temple is one of the most important and respected temples of Chachoengsao, as much as Ta-it Temple, Sothon Temple, Muang Temple, Laam Bon Temple, and Sampatuan Temple etc. the above temples sit on the West side of Bang Pakong River.

11.St. Paul catholic Church
This church is only one temple which located on the East Side of Bang Pakong River, and was built over 100 years ago by Rev. Fr.Gabriel of France came in 1902 and was the first to bring Christianity to the area.

12.The Ferry, and Old Floating Market
In time passed, the dwellers of the city used this area as an exchanged & trading center; farmers from both sides of Bang Pakong River bring their little rowboats to sell. Later on, when land transportation was develop, many preferred the safety of land transportation and so transportation via water lesson and finally come to an end, only the history of this kind of trading remained.

13. St. Anthony Catholic Church
Rev, Fr. Gabriei built the Chapel in 1946, followed by the building of St. Anthony School in 1947 for girl students, and later on, St. Louise School was built to accommodate the boy’s students, there’s also the brass statue of Rev. Fr. Gabrile With full history of the place Written under neat.

14.The Erected Railway Bridge
It is said to be the longest erected Railway Bridge in Southeast Asia, 1,850 m. joining Chachoengsao & Laem Cha Bang Harbor. It was built from April 6, 1981 to October 6, 1984. The distance from the first station till last station (Baan Phu Tar Luang - Pattaya) is 134 km with 2,148.5 millon baht to build.
15.Baan Mai Riverside Market.
The over 100 years old cultural commercial market, you can still see the remains of the old wooden house in the areas. King Rama V visited this riverside market to Wat Chin Prachasamosorn.

Here is the movies location, the well-preserved market offers visitors glimpses of traditional town life and an opportunity to taste a variety of Thai and Chinese delicacies for which the area. Original residents have re-opened their shop houses to trade in goods not just for outsiders, but also local produce to give the market a self-sustaining function.

16.Wat Chin Pracha Samosorn(Wat Leng Hok Yi).
This is another Chinese shrine of Wat Leng Neuy Yee(Yaowarat) in Bangkok, situated on Supakit Rd, near Baan Mai Market. It was built during the reign of King Rama V by the Chinese abbot of Wat Leng Neuy Yee over a century ago. Leng Hok Yee temple is built along the same pattern as the one in Bangkok, the difference being that the Leng Neuy Yee temple is always busy and you seldom get the chance to pray, whereas at the one in Pad Riew you will always find the space to rest to your body and soul.

Highlight of the temple is Buddha images made from the massive paper statue (papier-mâché sculptures); the images were created in China and originally meant for Leng Neuy Yee.

The preserved remains of two former abbots covered in golden leaf. They sit in the posture of meditation; visitors never hesitate to ask for successfully in commercial or business, the God of Luck which asks for good fortune from who carries it in pouch hanging from his side. You have to squeeze the pouch at the bottom three times to drive your luck out of the bag. Then touch your wallet to make sure your luck gets there.

A huge sacred bell. Every inch of the bell is inscribed with prayers in Chinese characters. There is only three of its kind in the world and built especially for illiterate people. Since they can’t read, they can just ring the bell then they can pray for their wish. There is a statue of Guan – In Bhotisattra, the God of Healing, and other Chinese deities in the temple.

Many sacred items in the temple mirror the strong faith of Chinese people in Buddhism.

At the temple you can take a cruise to admire the scenery and landmarks on either banks of the river. Boats leave hourly on weekends and public holidays. The cost is 100 baht for adults and 60 baht for children.
