Yahoo! Winter is coming .I love the chill cauzzzze........I can show my cooool sweater to my fellows .Though, one thing most people always think about when winter comes is traveling. Someone may be adverse by roaming around the sea ,but, over 70% attend to hike and woods trips. If your plan now is mountain journey , I'm welcome to present you 10 mountains of Thailand to be your choice. Okay, I'll start from the 10th to the 1st height.

Number 10 is Yod Kao Luang Mountain. It is situated in Nakornratchasrima,a northeast province of thailand. Yod Kao Luang is 1,835 metres high .Due to the diversified biology , it becomes an interesting site for people who want to research about prehistory forest ( clound forest) and seedling.The period you should go is from January to June.
Number 9 is Doi Mon Chong ,located in Omkoi District of Chiang Mai.It is 1,929 meters high.Doi Mon Chong will take you out of serious business by mountain goats and serow (the local called Ma Dhewada or angel horse ),And, you will be excited with the rich of virgin forests and rare flora with scenic views.

Next peak I will take you to is Doi Chang.Its location is in the Huay Nam Dang National Park.The Doi is 1.962 metres high . Most tourists like coming here to see the scenic view of fog sea .

Follow with the pretty name mountain like Yod Kao Mokochu . Its pronunciation sounds like japanese but it is Karen Language ,which means “it looks like to rain”. Mokochu is in Mae Wong National Park.By the height of 1,964 metres, makes it covered with the scenic fog sea.
A major sightseeing spot here is the piramid rock , which is a great source of mica .

Number 6 is Doi PhuKha .It is in Nan Province. Doi Phu Kha is 1,980 metres heigh.The visitors will enjoy with its steep mountain topography and completely woods.It is also the birthplace of the Nan River where have been fed all Nan people since the ancient time.
Doi Langkaluang is the 5th heighest peak in Thailand .It is situated in the Khunchae National Park ,covering the area of Chiang Mai ,Chiangrai and Lampang Province.The Doi Langkaluang is 2,031 metres high. It is also the water source of 4 main northern rivers; Ping ,Wang ,Yom and Nan .If you are the one who want to close up with Pinaceae forest, wild orchid and Doi langka white rose (found in winter) ,you shouldn't miss to conquer this peak.

Number 4 is Phu Soi -Dao.It is 2,102 metres high.The Phu is in Nam-Pad District of Uttaradit Province.It is a popular among trekkers because of its beautiful virgin and pine forests, which are the sources of streams and rivers.The tourist who come here will be impressed by various kinds of wild flowers and a waterfall at the top with an exquisite cliff about 20 metres high.
Next peak I will present you is Doi Luang Chiang Dao .In the past it was called “Phieng Dao” or “Bieng Dao” and changed to Chiang Dao . It is the third heighest peak of Thailand with the height of 2,220 metres and situated in Chiang Dao District of Chiang Mai Province.The geography of Doi Luang Chiang Dao is limestone mountain.The Doi is one of the less well known birding sites in Thailand. It is gaining recognition amongst birders as there are over 300 documented species which visit this area.It is well-known as its beauty in winter.If you are lucky ,you will see a vast of opium field.The period you should go is from January to February.
Number 2 is Doi Pha Hom Pok or Doi Hom Pok,with its peak 2,285 metres above sea level .Doi Hom Pok is a part of Phee Pun Nam Mountain Range, which is situated in Mae Fang National Park.The route to the mountain top is so steep that it’s considered as a “Mon Wad Jai” (a mountain that challenges those who think they can reach the top).Doi Pha Hom Pok covered by moss, fern ,and lichen which gives the area the appearance of being covered by a blanket and spawned its name ; Pha Hom Pok,which simply means the blanket covered mountain.It is known among travelers that this mountain is of its beauty in winter. For people who want to touch the morning fog sea , say hello to over 200 types of beauty birds ,looking at the goat antelope and rare butterflies like the imperial species,Doi Pha Hom Pok will be the great choice for you.

The heighest mountain peak is Doi Inthanon .Historically, it was refered to as Doi Ang Ka. Prince Intharawichayanon, the last ruler of Chiang Mai, realized the importance of the country’s forests, especially in the north.

He was interested in helping and supporting people who were investigating the history in his area. So he requested that his body must be placed on the summit of Doi Ang Ka. After his death, the mountain was renamed Inthanon, a short version of his name. Today, visitors can see the Inthanon Wichayanon stupa on the summit of Doi Ang Ka. Doi Inthanon is located in Chiang Mai province.It is the highest point in the country with the height of 2,565 metres , and is often dubbed 'The Roof of Thailand'. Doi Inthanon is very important to Thailand because it is the source of many rivers such as Mae Ping River ,where become the great energy to Bhumibhol Dam.It is covered by cold throughout the year ,especially on January.Doi Inthanon is one of the best locations in Thailand for bird watching and visiting the park is possible throughout the year. However, the best period for viewing waterfalls is May through November. The best period for viewing wild flowers is December through February. The best period for bird watchers is November through March.

Remember that ,after you have vanquishes these mountains or anywhere ,Don't forget to keep those area clean and follow the rules of everywhere.
