There are various joyful activities in Christmas, especially, in Christmas Eve. Many countries throughout the world have their own celebretion. In Spain, people dance and sing in the street in Christmas Eve. In United States and Canada, groups of carolers visit from home to home and sing Christmas songs while many young children hang up stockings and wait for presents from Santa Claus. In Finland, people are also kind to animals at Christmas. Horses are given oats and bread. Birds in yards and gardens also receive some foods such as oats.
