Lowering your temperature in pool is great idea. But how do I stop the trouble between my hair and chlorine?

Chlorine” is a greenish-yellow gas and is a member of the halogen (salt-forming) group of elements. It is obtained from chlorides by the action of oxidizing agents and more often by electrolysis.

This substance is widely used in making many everyday products such as paper products, dyestuffs, textiles, petroleum, and many other consumer products. It is well-known as an antiseptics used for making water pure.

However, chlorine is also like other elements that having both advantage and disadvantage. For disadvantage, it can sap protein from your hair. So, your hair will be dry, skin out and become broken.

How to protect your hair from chlorine damage

1.Wear swimming cap whenever you swim.

2.Avoid swimming in the strong sunlight day.

3.Coat your hair with deep conditioner, anti-chlorine product, or olive oil before diving

4.UV protection shampoo is a good idea since it has a sunlight protection substance called “Octyl-dimethy PABA” which can protect your hair from sun ray.

5.Take a shower and wash your hair immediately after swimming.

 

6.If you are swim fan, do the hair treatment at least once a week. This can make your hair look healthy.
